The Bride Spot is updated and maintained by the team at Wish Wonder Dream - a boutique wedding coordination company based in sunny Pasadena, California.

Our blog is designed to be a source of inspiration, guidance, and assistance to the brides we work with personally and to brides everywhere who find us on their own. We spotlight vendors that we've worked with & loved, new ideas for themes and schemes, fabulous accessories, personalization ideas, and so much more!

We also celebrate the couples we work by sharing stories and pictures from their wedding day. The blog is also designed to correspond perfectly with The Dream Book, a special gift that each Wish Wonder Dream bride receives.

We'll help you with design ideas, style inspirations, vendors recommendations, and all sorts of valuable wedding insights that only professionals can bring you. We live and breathe weddings anyway so it's only right that we share.

So enjoy the blog and please feel free to write to us with suggestions and contributions. We'd love that!  Happy Planning & Congratulations!

    Wish Wonder Dream is Hiring!

Wish Wonder Dream is currently looking for two additional Assistant Coordinators to join our team. This weekends-only position is a great opportunity for someone interested in wedding coordination, corporate event coordination, or in a career as a wedding vendor (photographer, videographer, caterer, etc.) There is also potential for this position to grow into a Lead Coordinator position for 2012 weddings.

We are looking for someone who lives, eats, and breathes weddings. You must be someone who flips through wedding magazines in your spare time and can easily name 3 of your favorite wedding blogs off the top of your head - The Bride Spot included, of course :)

If you are interested in finding out more about these positions, including job requirements and pay please contact us at dreamteam@wishwonderdream.com attn: Whitney

    Congratulations Carla and Chris!

We are so excited to be posting these fantastic images from Carla and Chris' wedding at Padua Hills Theatre last November. You may remember Carla and Chris from months ago when we posted their gorgeous vintage Disneyland engagement session, which was featured on The Wedding Chicks. Well here are the equally stunning wedding photos shot by the wonderful Paco and Betty. We had such an amazing time coordinating Carla and Chris' wedding! From the moment they arrived in our office about a year before the wedding, we knew we were going to click when they used adjectives like "fairytale, whimsical, Disney, romantic, periwinkle, stars." The pairing of a couple with their coordinator is almost like a mini-marriage and when we met Carla and Chris we knew this was one that was going to last :) We were honored to do all their stationery as well (through our stationery company My Little Wish) and we think it all tied together nicely! Carla and Chris have beautiful taste, and some of our favorites were the beautiful bridesmaids dresses & groomsmens' suits, the fantastic and sparkly centerpieces, the mickey mouse cupcakes, and the gorgeous European buggy which the baby ringbearer was escorted down the aisle in. And (gasp) how amazing is the engagement ring which Chris designed for Carla all by himself!! It was all so fairytale and romantic and we felt like we were standing on the set of Cinderella. The night came to an end as Carla and Chris were wisked away to the Disneyland Hotel where they spent their first night as husband and wife. And then, of course, the newlyweds hit the park as soon as the gates opened. Congratulations you lovely couple! We were thrilled to work with you!

    A Minimoon Close to Home

We've had several clients tell us they are going to postpone their honeymoon for a year in order to apply a larger amount to their wedding and then save up again for the honeymoon - and we think it's a fabulous idea! They've mentioned exotic locations like Tuscany and Fiji and next year they are going to have the time of their lives there. In the meantime we suggested that they stay local and just take a minimoon right after the wedding. That way, they'll still get to be whisked away and they'll have a fun place to retreat to and come down from the wedding high. It's important to spend some quality time together to celebrate the fact that you two just became husband and wife. And no one wants to walk into work on Monday morning as if they didn't just have the biggest weekend of their lives. So a minimoon lets the good times and memories continue while being much lighter on the wallet. After all, a honeymoon is an experience of a lifetime just like a wedding is so it's worth waiting and saving for if it isn't feasible right away.

Here is our suggestion for a fabulous, chic, and relaxing getaway less than 3 hours from Los Angeles. Seriously you can't beat the luxury and sophistication that is The Viceroy.
