A Beautiful Enagement Session with Our Clients Pamela and Khalif

We are SOOO looking forward to Pamela and Khalif's upcoming wedding. They are getting married very soon at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills and we simply couldn't be more excited for them!

At our last planning meeting Pamela shared a few images from her beautiful engagement session with Rhea Ashlynn (who will also be shooting her wedding - yay!) The photos were so sweet and charming and such a lovely reflection of Pamela and her wonderful hubby-to-be.

In LOVE With This Idea!

An old high school friend of mine actually posted this picture on Facebook and I think it's the best idea ever! Just as he and his wife were pronounced husband and wife, a second before their first kiss, Paul took his camera phone out of his pocket and shot a quick snapshot. What a perfect moment to catch a photo. Could any other picture capture so much emotion?

"It's a Beautiful Life" Engagement Session

Our lovely couple Fei and Xin spent a blissful spring afternoon with their photographer Laura Goldenberger at Malibu Creek State Park. The weather was perfect, the outfits were adorable, the setting was surreal, the photography was gorgeous, and in case it couldn't get any better a deer came out of NOWHERE and joined them for a few shots. How can anything be more perfect?

I love the beautiful origami cranes and hearts that Laura created for the shoot to add a bit of cuteness and color to the afternoon picnic. They are especially perfect because Fei is such a creative bride with a love of all things DIY. So far it's been lovely working with her because every time Fei creates another beautiful craft to be displayed at her wedding she emails a photo over to us (and Fei's quite the photographer herself). She's certainly made checking emails a lot more fun for us :)

Thanks for sharing these pictures Fei. We are so happy for you and Xin and we absolutely can't wait for your wedding. With a crafter as creative as you are and a photographer as talented as Laura to capture the photos we know it's going to be one beautiful day!

Desiree and Rich's Fun and Nostalgic Engagement Session

We just got to see our lovely couple Desiree and Rich's engagement photos and we almost fell over. No, seriously, they're gorgeous!! I love the settings, outfit changes, props, and most of all the couple. Desiree and Rich are such fun and vibrant people and it's not surprising at all that they had such a great time with their engagement session. Obviously a good amount of planning went into this session and it was shot by the ubertalented Heidi Ryder (who we adore). The photos have such a personal feel because it's as if Desiree and Rich asked Heidi to tag along while they visited some of their favorite nearby stomping grounds. Desiree and Rich are so obviously in love and the look of warmth and bliss on their faces in pricess. Seeing photos like these make it clear why these two people have decided to spend the rest of their lives together. Congratulations you two - we can't wait for the wedding in July!

Heidi Ryder - One of Our Favorite Photogs!

We just noticed that we are at the top of the amazing Heidi Ryder's list of Vendors She Loves. That makes us blush :) Seriously every engaged couple should know about the amazing Heidi Ryder. She's definitely one of the best, plus she's a lot of fun to shoot with. You'll notice her work throughout our blog and we're looking forward to working with her at a couple weddings this season!
