Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11:16PM We were wonderfully surprised this morning when we received an email from The Wedding Yentas informing us that one of our weddings was being featured on their home page. Desiree and Rich's gorgeous wedding at The Luxe Sunset is there right now. What a lovely compliment it was to be chosen. If I know Desiree, I bet she's ecstatic! :) Any bride currently planning her wedding can find beautiful inspiration from Desiree and Rich's picture-perfect details so it's definitely worth checking out. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 1:22PM We've been dying to get these beautiful photos up on the blog but Desiree and Rich's photographer (the incredible Heidi Ryder) asked us not to post them quite yet. The photos were to be featured on Style Me Pretty and she didn't want them being seen beforehand. But alas, we can now proudly bring their stunning photos to you. Desiree did an incredible job of choosing her soft, subtle, romantic, and absolutely charming color scheme of gray, white, and blush pink. The wedding was held at The Luxe Sunset and every detail was meticulously planned. I won't say much about the gorgeous decor because there just aren't enough adjectives so i'll let the photos speak for themselves. I will say that Desiree and Rich were an absolute pleasure to work with and we'll miss them dearly. They are a warm and wonderful couple with a silly & playful spirit and very sophisticated taste. The time and concern that Desiree and Rich put into their wedding and the incredible support and encouragement that their families provided every step of the way was wonderful to be a part of.

Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 2:27PM It was such a pleasure coordinating Jennifer and Joe's beautiful wedding at Maravilla Gardens. First of all, what a spectacular couple! I truly enjoyed every moment I spent with the lovely Jennifer and Joe. They were so kind, fun, silly, and thoroughly involved. This day meant a great deal to them and it showed down to the smallest detail. I loved Jennifer's weekly "check in" meetings and as a fellow type A personality I understood perfectly and we really got along well. All you have to do is spend two minutes with Jennifer and Joe and you'll know why they decided to become husband and wife and a train ride to work brought them together. And I am still touched by the adorable outfit Jennifer and Joe sent when Avery was born. How incredibly thoughtful! Second of all, what a spectacular venue. Maravilla Gardens in Camarillo is such a pleasant place to work (if you can call it work). There is such an abundance of flowers you really don't need to bring much at all. There are charming little signs and decor around every corner and when you're there you feel as if you're a million miles away. I especially love the putting green set up on the way to the ceremony. Their coordinator Erin helped immensely on the wedding day and we really appreciated her genuine concern for making sure Jennifer and Joe's day was perfect. And it goes without saying (once you see the pictures below) that you'd be hard-pressed to find a more perfect venue for photos. The day began at The Four Seasons Westlake Village, which holds particular sentimental value for me, as it's where I got ready on my wedding day almost 4 years ago. The day ended with a beautiful sparkler send-off, which made for some beautiful memories and gorgeous pictures. Jennifer and Joe, I hope this day was everything you dreamed it would be and then some. You were SO MUCH FUN to work with and I know we'll stay in touch. Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!

We just noticed that we are at the top of the amazing Heidi Ryder's list of Vendors She Loves. That makes us blush :) Seriously every engaged couple should know about the amazing Heidi Ryder. She's definitely one of the best, plus she's a lot of fun to shoot with. You'll notice her work throughout our blog and we're looking forward to working with her at a couple weddings this season!
