The Bride Spot is updated and maintained by the team at Wish Wonder Dream - a boutique wedding coordination company based in sunny Pasadena, California.

Our blog is designed to be a source of inspiration, guidance, and assistance to the brides we work with personally and to brides everywhere who find us on their own. We spotlight vendors that we've worked with & loved, new ideas for themes and schemes, fabulous accessories, personalization ideas, and so much more!

We also celebrate the couples we work by sharing stories and pictures from their wedding day. The blog is also designed to correspond perfectly with The Dream Book, a special gift that each Wish Wonder Dream bride receives.

We'll help you with design ideas, style inspirations, vendors recommendations, and all sorts of valuable wedding insights that only professionals can bring you. We live and breathe weddings anyway so it's only right that we share.

So enjoy the blog and please feel free to write to us with suggestions and contributions. We'd love that!  Happy Planning & Congratulations!

Gorgeous Engagement Shoot at The Silent Movie Theatre and LACMA

We were so thrilled for our wonderful couple Martha and John when we saw these fantastic engagement shots taken by their lovely photographer Heidi Ryder (her website). Martha and John are such a loving couple who have a quiet and relatively calm demeanor, but can really let loose and laugh a lot once you get them started. We've enjoyed working with them so much and we've had such a fun time together - especially at our very patriotic food tasting in the press room at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. We are really looking forward to bringing their very special day to life with them at the beach this July. Thank you so much Heidi for these gorgeous photos and we can't wait for you to work your magic on the wedding day.

Featured on The Wedding Chicks!

We were thrilled this morning when we visited The Wedding Chicks blog and our gorgeous couple Carla and Chris were being featured. Posted on our blog earlier this week, Carla and Chris's vintage Disneyland engagement shot was truly spectacular! We really had no choice but to submit the photos to The Wedding Chicks and cross our fingers they would make it up. We are so happy the photos were chosen! Again, thank you for the great photography by Paco and Betty.

Carla and Chris do Vintage Disney

We literally had to remind ourselves to breathe when our lovely bride Carla sent us the link to her engagement photos. Carla and Chris are fortunate enough to be friends with the extraordinarily talented Marcellos and Whitney of Paco and Betty Photography based in San Francisco. So the four of them spent a whimsical day together at the happiest place on earth for their engagement session and the photos that resulted are pure Disney magic. Considering that Chris and Carla are Disneyland annual pass holders and Chris popped the question there, it was only fitting that they would use the beautiful park as the backdrop for their stunning photos. If the engagement photos look this fabulous we can only imagine what the wedding photos will look like in Novemeber. Swoon!

Below are a few of our favorites. The rest can be seen at the Paco and Betty blog here.

Couldn't Have Said it Better Ourselves!

We were just browsing the lovely "Style Me Pretty" Blog and came across a feature on a wonderful wedding photographer named Stephanie Fay. We were quite taken by her photography and couldn't help but get lost in her blog. On her blog Stephanie interviewed Serendipity Videography and asked them the following question:

Q6:What piece of advice would you give to your clients while planning the big day?
I think 2 of the best investments a bride can make are in a Wedding Planner and a Videographer. Both of these elements are seen as a luxury and I wish they would be seen as a MUST HAVE. A Wedding Planner is a first class ticket to a stress free wedding day. Brides these days are spending an average of $40,000 on a wedding... Don't you want to protect that investment and insure that your wedding day is all that you dreamed it would be? Weddings with Planners tend to go more smoothly. When there is a Planner no one is bothering the bride to see where she wants things placed or if the favors are on the right table or if there is a crisis the bride never hears about it the Planner just handles it. A Wedding Planner is worth her weight in gold!!

Well, we couldn't have said it better ourselves. Thanks Serendipity (and Stephanie)! And since we're publishing this posting, we might as well take this opportunity to return the favor and post of a few of our favorites from Stephanie's blog.

Photographer Spotlight: Meghan Aileen

We truly cannot say enough great things about Meghan Aileen of Meghan Aileen Photography. Seriously folks, she's the best. We meet with a lot of newlyweds after their weddings to reflect on their special days and discuss their favorite memories. More often than not, when we ask the couples where they think their money was best spent or where they wish they would have spent more, the reply is "PHOTOGRAPHY!" Having a great photographer is of paramount importance. That is why we highly highly recommend Meghan. I met Meghan by chance when I was looking for a photographer to shoot my engagement pictures years ago. Meghan was a sweetheart from the very beginning and made the day comfortable and fun. Plus she really helped us to relax in front of the camera. We chose venues that we knew would be picturesque but it was Meghan's amazing eye that found the photo opportunities in places I never would have thought of. The result was a collection of stunning and gorgeous pictures that I am so pleased to have. Meghan and I have been friends for years since and I am very excited to be working with her next month at a wedding for our mutual clients, Heather and Joe. I know I don't have to say much about Meghan's work because it absolutely speaks for itself. But I will say that Meghan is not only a gifted artist but an amazing person to know and work with.
