The Bride Spot is updated and maintained by the team at Wish Wonder Dream - a boutique wedding coordination company based in sunny Pasadena, California.

Our blog is designed to be a source of inspiration, guidance, and assistance to the brides we work with personally and to brides everywhere who find us on their own. We spotlight vendors that we've worked with & loved, new ideas for themes and schemes, fabulous accessories, personalization ideas, and so much more!

We also celebrate the couples we work by sharing stories and pictures from their wedding day. The blog is also designed to correspond perfectly with The Dream Book, a special gift that each Wish Wonder Dream bride receives.

We'll help you with design ideas, style inspirations, vendors recommendations, and all sorts of valuable wedding insights that only professionals can bring you. We live and breathe weddings anyway so it's only right that we share.

So enjoy the blog and please feel free to write to us with suggestions and contributions. We'd love that!  Happy Planning & Congratulations!

    Found It: Edible Butterflies

This will be the first of many posts where we locate the wedding trends that our brides are asking for.

Does everyone remember this cover of Martha Stewart magazine?

Well ever since it came out our brides have been asking us how to find butterflies for their wedding cake. While we've been referring our brides to our favorite cake designers to make these beautiful butterflies (see Heather and Joe's wedding pictures) we finally found a seller on Etsy who makes these edible butterflies for all you DIY brides. Just click here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/61830221/edible-butterflies-assorted-purple-set. They are made of wafer paper (potato starch, vegetable oil, water) and food color and they are FDA approved. Plus each butterfly has been brushed with a coat of vanilla.

    Enjoy!
