The Bride Spot is updated and maintained by the team at Wish Wonder Dream - a boutique wedding coordination company based in sunny Pasadena, California.

Our blog is designed to be a source of inspiration, guidance, and assistance to the brides we work with personally and to brides everywhere who find us on their own. We spotlight vendors that we've worked with & loved, new ideas for themes and schemes, fabulous accessories, personalization ideas, and so much more!

We also celebrate the couples we work by sharing stories and pictures from their wedding day. The blog is also designed to correspond perfectly with The Dream Book, a special gift that each Wish Wonder Dream bride receives.

We'll help you with design ideas, style inspirations, vendors recommendations, and all sorts of valuable wedding insights that only professionals can bring you. We live and breathe weddings anyway so it's only right that we share.

So enjoy the blog and please feel free to write to us with suggestions and contributions. We'd love that!  Happy Planning & Congratulations!

    Congratulations Veronica and Aaron!

What is not to love about this loving and adorable couple Veronica and Aaron? Veronica lit up our office about a year ago when she bounced in with her bubbly personality and her big ideas for her wedding day. Her eyes lit up when she described her navy blue and burnt orange color scheme and we were hooked right away. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Veronica, a lawyer for police officers and her amazing new husband Aaron, a brain surgeon. They complement each other amazingly well and it is obvious by the way they stare into each other's eyes that they just "get" each other and are madly in love. There just aren't enough words in the English language to describe how gorgeous and sparkly Veronica's dress was; all I can say is that jaws dropped. We loved being so involved in the creative process and we had a blast custom-designing their dinner menus, ceremony programs, and bar signage. We wanted to keep the designs formal but infused with a splash of fun. The ceremony was co-officiated by a Rabbi and a Priest, to represent Aaron and Veronica's different faiths. It was perfect that the Rabbi and Priest actually work together often and are good friends. Veronica's Hispanic heritage was also represented by the Mariachi band who came to play for cocktail hour. And how great is the groom's cake Veronica suprised Aaron with? It was a 3-piece cake, a Berkeley hat to represent his school, golf clubs to represent his love of golf, and a brain to represent his profession as a surgeon. It was a wonderful surprise and Aaron (and all the guests) loved it. It was also a fun surprise with the DJ turned out to have gone to high school with Veronica and a few of her bridesmaids. They didn't find out until that day but it was a perfect turn of events. Congratulations to Veronica and Aaron. It was fantastic working with you and I'll especially miss Veronica's wonderful smile in our office for planning meetings. It always made my day! Thank you to Erin Palos of Palos Studios for these breathtaking photos. Visit their website here.

Wedding Site Spotlight - The Padua Hills Theatre

It's tough to put into words why and how much we love the Padua Hills Theatre. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood up in the rolling hills of Claremont, this gorgeous and recently renovated historical site (founded in the 1920's) is a breathtaking retreat full of natural beauty, dramatic flare, and custom touches which will make any wedding there feel like a platinum event. Where other venues charge more for specialty linens and a custom lighting package (complete with uplighting, effects, and your illuminated monogram on the dance floor) Padua throws these features into every one of their packages. The warm and friendly team at Padua are both the proud owners and the vendors that will bring your event to life. Richard is part owner and part gourmet chef,  Sheryl is part owner and part gourmet pastry chef, and Scott is part owner and part DJ/lighting specialist. Having the owners also be part of the team ensures that your event there will be executed with pride - though you are free to bring in your own vendors if you'd rather go that route. The beauty of Padua is something that can only be experienced fully by visiting it in-person, so we highly recommend that you schedule a tour. The only complaint we have about Padua is how little availability they have, since events are booked there far in advance. But if you are fortunate enough to reserve the Padua Hills Theatre for your special day then you and your guests are truly in for a treat.
