The Bride Spot is updated and maintained by the team at Wish Wonder Dream - a boutique wedding coordination company based in sunny Pasadena, California.

Our blog is designed to be a source of inspiration, guidance, and assistance to the brides we work with personally and to brides everywhere who find us on their own. We spotlight vendors that we've worked with & loved, new ideas for themes and schemes, fabulous accessories, personalization ideas, and so much more!

We also celebrate the couples we work by sharing stories and pictures from their wedding day. The blog is also designed to correspond perfectly with The Dream Book, a special gift that each Wish Wonder Dream bride receives.

We'll help you with design ideas, style inspirations, vendors recommendations, and all sorts of valuable wedding insights that only professionals can bring you. We live and breathe weddings anyway so it's only right that we share.

So enjoy the blog and please feel free to write to us with suggestions and contributions. We'd love that!  Happy Planning & Congratulations!

Sweet Treats!

So it's a pretty well-known fact that guests LOVE desserts! This is one of the reasons that setting up a candy station has become so popular. We often find that when we set up a candy station at a wedding it is one of the first places guests visit. We absolutely adore candy stations and we definitely think they are a great accessory to any wedding. But we would also like to draw your attention to a few other possible alternatives. These fresh ideas are just as yummy and they are great ideas for couples interested in doing something a bit different.

1. Chocolate Truffle Bar: Set up a decadent assortment of truffles and allow your guests to come and sample them throughout the wedding. Better yet, hire one or two attendants to dress in apparel reminiscent of a French or Swiss Chocolate Shop clerk to offer suggestions and assist with selections. Set up a coffee urn at this station for a perfect pairing of tastes and aromas.

We recommend Cambria Cove (www.cambriacove.com) or Neuchatel Chocolates (www.neuchatelchocolates.com/)

2. Ice Cream Sundae Bar: Set up an old-fashion ice cream parlor. Offer a selection of colorful ice creams and delicious toppings and wisk your guests back to the days of olde. Better yet, pull up a few tall chairs and allow your guests to really get into the theme. Hire one or two attendants to dress in apparel reminiscent of of a 50's ice cream parlor clerk who will dish up sundaes, rootbeer floats, or anything else your guests can dream of.

We recommend Dandy Don's for your sundae fun (http://www.dandydonsicecream.com/)

3. Wine Bar: Spend a romantic weekend with your sweetie in Napa Vallery or Temecula and bring home several of your favorite types of wine. Or, if you don't have time for a romantic get-away visit a local wine warehouse then have your own custom wine labels made. At the wedding, set-up a special wine tasting station for your guests to visit throughout the night. Hire one or two attendants who are knowledgeable of the selected wines and have them offer your guests an intimate and informative wine tasting session.

We recommend The Wine House in West LA (www.wineaccess.com/store/winehouse) and have custom wine labels made at My Wedding Labels (http://www.myownlabels.com)
