The Bride Spot is updated and maintained by the team at Wish Wonder Dream - a boutique wedding coordination company based in sunny Pasadena, California.

Our blog is designed to be a source of inspiration, guidance, and assistance to the brides we work with personally and to brides everywhere who find us on their own. We spotlight vendors that we've worked with & loved, new ideas for themes and schemes, fabulous accessories, personalization ideas, and so much more!

We also celebrate the couples we work by sharing stories and pictures from their wedding day. The blog is also designed to correspond perfectly with The Dream Book, a special gift that each Wish Wonder Dream bride receives.

We'll help you with design ideas, style inspirations, vendors recommendations, and all sorts of valuable wedding insights that only professionals can bring you. We live and breathe weddings anyway so it's only right that we share.

So enjoy the blog and please feel free to write to us with suggestions and contributions. We'd love that!  Happy Planning & Congratulations!

LOVE THESE: SUPER CUTE SAVE THE DATES!

The wife of one of the videographers we use lots and lots (Visioneer Media) just sent me a link to this very clever Save the Date card idea. She loved it and shared it with us. Thanks Sheri!

CONGRATULATIONS RUTH AND HOWARD!

You'd have to search high & low to find a couple more chill than Ruth and Howard. From the moment I met this awesome couple they knew exactly what they wanted for their special day. They already had their venue - The historic Castle Green (down the street from us in Pasadena) and they knew they wanted a relaxing afternoon/evening with good food, good friends, lots of personal touches, and a day they could fully be engaged in by relaxing and celebrating every moment. I'm pleased to report that's just what they did.

We provided Month Of coordination and at our planning meeting Ruth had all her details figured out and ready to go. She found gorgeous mugs at Anthropologie which matched her decor perfectly and opted for fun favors by ordering custom-made chapsticks for her guests. She and Howard did a reveal beforehand and took their wedding party to the nearby and very picturesque Levitt Pavillion for the Performing Arts for some pre-shots. They hung out with their wedding party and thoroughly enjoyed themselves for a few hours before their ceremony began.

We couldn't believe it when Ruth arrived at Castle Green. She caming mozying through the gates, all by herself, dressed head to toe in an absolutely STUNNING wedding dress and greeted us and her other vendors as if it were just a regular Tuesday. Like I said - super chill! Maybe she didn't realize how fantastic she looked or maybe she just doesn't like a fuss but WOW Ruth made a gorgeous bride and we were floored. The evening went off without a hitch and the dance floor was packed the whole time. Every time we looked at Ruth and Howard they were just taking it all in and having the time of their lives. We are so happy to have been a part of this lovely day and it's been such a pleasure getting to know Ruth and Howard. Congratulations you two!

How fab are Ruth's sparkly purple shoes?

Thanks to Love & Lemonade for these gorgeous photos!

NOW OFFERING BABY BIRTHDAY PARTIES!

Wow, where does the time go!? It's been such a huge (and highly rewarding) adjustment just getting used to the fact that I'm a mommy but I'm now pairing that with the shocking realization that I have a one year old. When people say the first year flies, they aren't kidding! It's been an incredible year and I am so blessed to say that I have the baby girl of my dreams. She dances, she sings, she smiles ALL the time, and she makes my heart melt every time I look at her adorable little face.

To launch a very exciting venture for Wish Wonder Dream I thought it was only fitting that the first 1st birthday party we coordinate be my little Avery's. We chose a super girly vintage French theme and had an absolute blast with all the DIY projects. We had an all pink sweets station, decorate your own Red Velvet cupcakes (with a special mini cake at the top for Avery to dig into) and a custom-designed cameo as the cake topper, pink champagne, flower ball centerpieces in large mint julip cups, and lots more. It was a beautiful day and a truly momentous occasion.

People kept asking me what I'm going to do when she turns 2  (since I went so far over-the-top with this one) and the answer to that question is: I'm not sure yet. But you know I'm already planning ;)

WE'VE BEEN FEATURED ON THE WEDDING YENTAS!

We were wonderfully surprised this morning when we received an email from The Wedding Yentas informing us that one of our weddings was being featured on their home page. Desiree and Rich's gorgeous wedding at The Luxe Sunset is there right now. What a lovely compliment it was to be chosen. If I know Desiree, I bet she's ecstatic! :) Any bride currently planning her wedding can find beautiful inspiration from Desiree and Rich's picture-perfect details so it's definitely worth checking out. Here is a link to the article.

Thanks again to Heidi Ryder for the incredible photography!
